Gerhard successfully founded 3 companies in the area of IT and Business Consulting and was CEO of a multimedia-agency, which became publicly listed, and was Head of Business Development of a software development company partnering with Sun Microsystems.
Besides his involvement in business units he is a lecturer at several universities presenting topics in economics, business planning and innovation management.
When he is not at his desk or at a customer's site, he is helping his community by volunteering as a part-time paramedic for the Red Cross.
